A date to celebrate

Genealogy is a rabbit hole. Once you go down it, it’s hard to find your way out. You can be frustrated to the point of hair-pulling one minute and screaming “Eureka!” the next. It can take years to find a small piece of information that you want more than anything else. That’s what happened to me. Fortunately, I found it just in time.

Recently, I started a genealogy project to fill in some blanks about what I know of how my Grandmother came to Canada. There’s so much information online today, that the process is easier than it was even 10 years ago when my husband started researching his family history.
